At Hippitots our staff are a team of dedicated professionals where your child’s care, education and happiness are their number one priority. We are a small team of 14 which is led by a management team of three graduates with the remaining staff qualified from level 4 to level 2. Between us all there is over 150 years of combined experience working in early years education.
Our staff strive to provide a stimulating environment that encourages your child’s natural curiosity to observe, experience, socialise and learn in the world around them. The creation of a happy, stimulating, safe, home from home environment is brought about by our committed team, who share an absolute love of children.
At Hippitots all staff work closely together for the well being of all children and each child is assigned a special person (key person) who is responsible for observing, assessing and planning for your child’s individual needs. We encourage your involvement as partners in your child’s development and education, and hold family days to share your child’s learning with you.
We have two dedicated members of staff who are responsible for special educational needs and disabilities. Our SenCo’s are here to be able to offer support and guidance to both staff and families as well as engaging with other professionals in providing the best support for everyone involved in the child’s development.
Our staff are committed to providing the highest standards of professional childcare and education and Hippitots is committed to providing training and development for all staff including: First Aid, Child Protection, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Child Development, and much more.
We take the recruitment of staff very seriously and all new members of staff are thoroughly vetted in accordance with Disclosure and Barring Service and must provide two satisfactory references before beginning their employment at Hippitots.
We are pleased to say that many staff that join Hippitots stay with us for several years so we must be doing something right!
Ofsted said: “Staff are extremely enthusiastic and know children exceptionally well.”
