All food is prepared in the setting. Where possible dishes are cooked from fresh ingredients. Children are encouraged to try new foods and healthy eating is promoted.
Hippitots has been rated as EXCELLENT ( 5 STARS ***** ) by Durham County Council. This rating states 'Very high standards of compliance with food safety legislation. Demonstrating best practice in managing and acheiving this'.
Any dietary requirements are discussed with the parents and carers during the settling in visits and menus are adapted where possible.
