Under 3's: Baby Room and Little Rainbow Room

 We have been doing lots of exciting things this week both indoors and in our outdoor area. We have been playing with our new ICT equipment and really enjoy our remote control cars. We have also enjoyed using our new sensory area and love the sparkling lights, bubble tubes and projector pictures.

Over 3's: Jigsaw Room

We have had a busy couple of weeks with some of our children getting ready for school and lots of sad goodbye's. We had a lovely Teddy Bear's Party for all of our children, with picnic food, party games and lots of singing and dancing.

We are also busy welcoming our new children to Hippitots, with lots of settling in visits happening and new friendships being formed. 

Our fruit and vegetables in the garden have been a great success, we have made rubarb crumble and eaten some strawberries but the most popular has been the pea pods.

 Setting Information

Thank you to everyone who took part in our 'Wear red day', helping us raise money for brain injuries. We raised £52.00p.

Thank you to everyone who kindly gave sponsor money towards our Barnardos Toddle which took place on Friday 25th June. We have raised around £100 upto now with more sponsor money to come in. Thnk you again to everyone who has raised money.

We are very excited to welcome a new member to the Hippitots family, a rabbit. She is called Poppy, following a competition to name her, and settling in very well although she does get scared now and again when the children are a bit loud!

Congratulations to Danielle for passing her Early Years Professional Status course and to Catherine for passing her Early Years Endorsed Foundation Degree.
